Wilor Academy Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy Relating to Employment (WAP020)

  1. Introduction

Wilor Academy is committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion across all aspects of its operations. This policy is designed to ensure compliance with the Sex Discrimination Act 1975, Race Relations Act 1976, Disability Discrimination Act 1995, and Equality Act 2010, and to foster an environment that respects the rights and dignity of every individual associated with the college.

  1. Scope

This policy applies to all employees, students, contractors, volunteers, and visitors associated with Wilor Academy.

  1. Principles

Wilor Academy will adhere to the following principles:

a. Equal Opportunities

We will provide equal opportunities for all individuals, regardless of their age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.

b. Elimination of Discrimination

Discrimination, harassment, or victimisation on the basis of any of the protected characteristics mentioned in the Equality Act 2010 will not be tolerated.
